Our mission is to unite graduating and former collegiate athletes with employers who value and seek the skill set of the athlete through the use of the most advantageous, efficient, and opportunistic career services organization.
Athletes4hire.com organization has ten years of dedicated industry leading services, including an online career board, career educational seminars, and a hands-on placement service, making it the largest and most experienced resource for current and former collegiate athletes in the country. Representatives from Athletes4hire.com have visited more than 800 athletic departments in the past decade, conducting training seminars and personal interviews with graduating collegiate athletes.
Athletes4hire.com has the ability to offer organizations multi-tiered recruiting services reaching diverse, qualified, former collegiate athletes, both male and female, to meet employment demands. Studies have documented that student-athletes, through lessons learned on the field and their education, acquire the key characteristics that organizations seek in their employees.
Athletes4hire.com was founded by former collegiate athletes. After working in the Pharmaceutical, Investment Banking, Insurance, and Financial Services industries, we realized the lessons learned while being a student-athlete directly correlated to success of athletes4hire employees. Athletes4hire.com believes these lessons, when applied with education, experience, and the competitive nature of a student athlete, correlate to an ambitious, skillful, and highly productive employee.
In July of 2007, Athletes4hire.com acquired Competitive Resources Group (CRG) based in Lawrenceville, GA. expanding the services that Athletes4hire.com offers to job seekers, employers, and collegiate institutions. CRG, founded in 1998, is the industry's leading niche placement and consulting firm that specializes in career transitioning with individuals who have competitive athletic backgrounds.
Athletes4hire.com and CRG has an outstanding reputation with collegiate athletic departments and businesses throughout the nation, and provides services to the schools and athletes that create a significant advantage for graduating and alumni college athletes.

process by assisting them in recognizing and articulating
the unique skill set that they have acquired through athletic

Our Collegiate Relations Staff
DJ WASHNGTON joined the Training and Development area of Athletes4hire.com in January 2005, attended Union College (KY) where he received a Bachelor Degree in Communications and Marketing in 2003. While at Union, he served as Captain of the mens basketball team receiving NAIA All-Academic recognition. He served both as President of the Student Government Association and Associate Member to the Board of Trustees at his undergraduate institution. DJ is noted as a prominent speaker of career development in collegiate athletics. He has been a frequent guest presenter for several athletic conferences and national associations each year.
In 2004, DJ obtained his masters degree in Public Relations and Sport Communication from Ball State University. In accordance with his educational experience, he worked with several marketing and public relations firms, including Dye Van Mol & Lawrence, a top PR firm in the Southeast region. Prior to joining CRG, DJ worked at Dell Computer Corporation in Nashville as an Account Representative.
